Branding & StrategyUttermost
Uttermost is a 35 year-old home furnishings and accessories company that has established itself as a leading U.S. manufacturer with retailers and designers.
Jola Interactive was challenged with revitalizing a long-running Uttermost marketing program that would beneficially impact both their consumer and trade campaigns. The company realized it needed something new and also wanted to highlight the work they do with canine rescue.
Jola Interactive created two campaigns to address Uttermost’s concerns while still having an impact on their audience:
- The trade campaign featured customers in their ads speaking about their positive dealings with Uttermost.
- The consumer campaign used dogs they had helped rescue with fetching lines about Uttermost, while highlighting their charitable contributions to the SPCA. This helped add warmth, character, and credibility to the campaign, creating accessibility to an audience unfamiliar with the brand.
The trade campaign continues to build business for Uttermost, while the consumer launch proved that the Uttermost brand message and its charitable efforts could be communicated effectively and with integrity.
